• Begin adjusting your child to the new time zone before you leave for vacation, changing his bedtime by fifteen minutes every day.

• Have everyone in your family drink plenty of liquids on the plane.

• Keep the itinerary for your first day easy.

• Try to arrive at your destination in the early evening. Put your child to bed according to the new time zone, regardless of what the time is at home.
