Babysitters at your beck and call: Can it get any better than this?
Keywords: babysitters, parents, resorts
Scheduling some grown-up activities for yourself during your family vacation is especially easy if your kids are entertained at play all the while you are. Recognizing that leisure time is at a premium for busy parents, many hotels and resorts offer babysitter or nanny services and supervised kids’ activities, recreational areas or “kids camps” that give parents and couples a chance to steal away some adult time while the kids simply have a blast. (Beginning to feel a little like royalty? You’ve obviously done something right.)
To provide peace of mind about these services, reputable hotels and resorts implement strict hiring guidelines and employ only dedicated individuals who are genuinely caring, have successfully passed qualification screenings, possess CPR and first aid skills, and often, even certifications in child development from accredited U.S. institutions. If only it were this simple —and worry-free— to find a sitter back home!

I stumbled upon this website and had to comment on this post. A friend of mine has two children and took an all inclusive trip a couple of months back, for the first time, and mentioned that the nanny services was one of the best parts of his trip. He said that he actually felt like he was on vacation with his wife for the first time in years.
